Induction by LPS instillation of airway constriction in CFTR-/- mice. Mice were kept in whole-body plethysmography system to measure basal level of Penh for 40 min. Then, they were subjected to intranasal instillation of either LPS (330 μg/kg) or the same volume of saline. Penh was measured continuously for 4 h and data were collected every 10 seconds and expressed as means of every 3 min. A representative graph is shown in A.
