Presence of mycobacterial responses does not correlate with radiographic stage. Response to mycobacterial antigens was seen in radiographic stages 1-2. There were not enough subjects with stage 3-4 to assess differences in distribution of immune recognition across these stages. Kruskal-Wallis rank sum test was used to assess differences in distribution of immune responses. Medians depicted by lines. (A) CD4+ T cell response to ESAT-6, katG, Ag85A, sodA, and HSP.
