Parameter estimate B (corresponding to the "per-allele" effect on the level of FEV₁ in ml), its 95% Confidence Interval and p value are estimated for genetic variations in NFE2L2 and KEAP1 using Linear Mixed Effect model analysis on FEV₁ level adjusted for genotypes (coded: 0 = homozygotes wild type, 1 = heterozygotes, 2 = homozygotes mutant) packyears smoked, sex, age, height and correlation of FEV₁ measurements within subjects and cohort binary variable for the pooled cohorts analysis.
