Both the endothelial layer and the lumen of vessels were enlarged in obliterative bronchiolitis (OB) patients. Vessels were stained with antibody to von Willebrand factor, and a characteristic vessel and a zoomed part of the endothelial layer of the vessel are shown in panels a and b, respectively.
